The Stories of Change Project focusses on visualizing the different result areas within the Food Security & Economic Cooperation (FS&EC) program of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Uganda.
During our 12 day road trip through Uganda we produced several documentary-style portraits based on 8 different stories. To capture these stories we have traveled all the way from the Rwandan border in the South Western region to the Kenyan border in the East.
The story selection took place in Kampala during the training organized and facilitated by EyeOpenerWorks. All main partners within the FS&EC program were trained to use the Most Significant Change (MSC) with Participatory Video (PV) methodology to create video portraits of beneficiaries that show the direct impact of the different programs within FS&EC program on their lives and their communities.
Based on the stories the participants have collected within their specific program we have selected 8 individual portraits that we will film for our short documentaries.
Together these portraits tell the bigger story of the program as a whole and the impact and effects it has.
